Have an Emergency? Give OFab a Ring!

In this month of Thanksgiving, and in the spirit of giving back, we want to share the stories of some of our more recent Clients who needed emergency help of the kind that we at OFab are uniquely positioned to offer on (almost!) a moment’s notice.

Client: Andrew T. - Home Prep for Sale

We threw ourselves into a passion project this month, when a real estate agent friend (@julia_kanesawa_realtor) called us up with an emergency plea. Her Client was paralyzed with grief from losing his entire family in two years, and found himself responsible for dealing with an entire house that needed to be decluttered, packed, organized and staged to be prepared for sale. We twirled all of the rooms into shape and the entire home was prepped and ready to be shown, in 2 days!

Afterwards, they were kind enough to send some thoughtful notes that we just have to share - 

“Hi Jennifer, I just want to thank you so much for your expert organizational skills and dedication during a time where a strong spirit like yourself is needed and quite beneficial to my personal needs, thanks so much!”

And: “Hey [real estate agent], thanks so much for finding Jennifer Roach’s organizing service. She is such a nice person and her company was the exact service I needed. We finished up the 2nd day this afternoon, just one more day next Wednesday to pack all things going to Oregon and after that arranging the moving company. Jennifer and her wonderful company OFab was a real godsend, a complete game changer. After today, I feel better about many things than I’ve felt in many agonizing months.”

Client:  Sarah S. - Home Prep for Sale

Also this month, real estate extraordinaire (@brittneysellsla at @kwlosfeliz) reached out for help for one of her Clients. These Clients had a level 5 out of 5 declutter project that was dire. Clutter level 5! The homeowners needed OFab to tackle every room in order to prepare the house for sale on the market. 

It was a labor of love to work on this home for this growing family who didn’t know where to start. We went in and cleared every room, organized everything that remained, and made the home look like a showplace! The agent and the Clients agreed - and the home sold in ONE WEEK for thousands over the listing price. Next up, we’ll be handling their upcoming move and unpack as well!

Afterwards, we were thrilled to hear from the agent -

Client: Elizabeth B. - Pack, Unpack, Set up

While at a YMCA Wellness Event with the PaliBu Chamber of Commerce, we met a woman in a hurry! "I need you! I'm moving next week!" 

On the day of their move, with a full moving truck loaded with all their belongings, they had to get back into their old place practically overnight. This was a true emergency.

On initial consultation, I realized that we had moved the previous tenants out of the home 7 years prior (what are the chances in Los Angeles?) The next day, we were able to help this growing family of 4 purge 10 years’ worth of belongings, pack everything in the house and unpack in their new house in Malibu in 5 days!

We're happy to report that family is doing fabulous and keeping up all of the OFab organization systems we set up.

Client: Nohl L. - Home Prep for Sale

We pulled out all the stops this month, when a local real estate agent that we had worked with recently (@lorilarealtor) called us up with an emergency plea. Her Client had recently lost his mother and needed to clear out, organize and prepare her home for sale. Most of the trustees for the property lived out of state, so we worked with him and the agent to tackle the problem of the entire house needing to be decluttered, packed, and prepared for sale. We OFabbed all of the rooms into shape and, in two days, the entire home was staged by OFab and ready to be shown. 

Afterwards, we received these testimonials, from the homeowner and their realtor -

“Hi Jennifer. We opened up escrow yesterday. Thanks again for all ur amazing work. Everyone that came thru loved the staging! Thank u!! Could not have done any of it without you. You had the big vision!”
